Barbara Kennedy, is no stranger to the greater Tampa Bay area. She has been a hairstylist & a make-up artist for over 44 years. Some of her accomplishments include: being a charter and former member of Nexxus Design Team for 8 years, performing as a platform artist & instructor at national & local hair shows, working behind the scenes as a hair designer & make-up artists for TV on-air talent, styling on location photo shoots with models. She is the recipient of The Center for Women Helen Gordon Davis Pillar of Strength award for her achievements & personal growth. Barbara recently qualified for Tearsheet Artistic Team an International editorial team chosen by many magazines and Fashion Week NYC to deliver the highest levels of editorial, fashion and trend. Styling.
Barbara opened Kennedy Day Salon & Day Spa in 1997 and is currently reinventing her business under the new name of Studio on Cass. Kennedy Salon & Day Spa has received numerous awards and acclamations, such as Best of the Bay (Best Day Spa), Best of the Bay (Best Stylists - Barbara Kennedy), and Best in Show at the Women's Expo. Kennedy Salon & Day Spa has also been featured in The Tampa Tribune "Spa Experiences", Flair Magazine, Metro Magazine, Allure and Spa Finders Magazine. Also chosen by Sports Illustrated to entertain the magazine's guests during the Super Bowl. Best of Business 2011 by the Small Business Community Association, Bronze Winner, South Tampa Day Spa's 2012 and Best of Beauty Shops 2012 Tampa. Recently honored by Charity Chics with the " Award of Generosity" for her generous contribution to the organization.

Meet Danielle
BIO
Danielle is an exceptionally talented, licensed Cosmetologist with over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry. From a young age, she knew that being part of an industry that makes people look and feel better about themselves was something she wanted to do. At the age of 14, Danielle began working her first job in a very busy, upscale salon in South Tampa. Right away she knew she was in the right place.
After graduating high school, Danielle attended Cosmetology school at The Salon Professional Academy in Tampa, Florida where she quickly excelled and received many awards for her beautiful work. Upon graduating Cosmetology school and passing the boards, she continued working in the thriving salon where she started.
Danielle has grown her business tremendously over the years and also specializes in make-up artistry.
Bridal parties, homecoming & prom , as well as other special occasion makeup is truly Danielle's passion and has now become a huge part of her business.
Danielle holds Certifications in Balayage, hair extensions, Keratin treatments and eyelash extensions and believes strongly that the beauty industry is ever changing and evolving, making complacency unacceptable.
Staying ahead of the upcoming and latest trends is a priority to Danielle, so she attends multiple forms of continuing education classes each year.
